ANALYSING THE DYNAMICS OF THE BALTIC STATES’S PRODUCTION LINKAGES WITH RUSSIA

Russia and the Baltic States have a long-standing relationship of industrial specialisation, cooperation, division labour trade exchange, all dating back to Soviet Union. Today, this is facing tough test amid political ideological challenges risks. The last two years seen profound large-scale crisis caused by global COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, production linkages between adapted in response existing problems, remaining resistant geopolitical pandemic shocks. This article examines countries, investigating export-import flows consumer intermediate goods 2003—2020. A comparative study States’ with their main partners EU — Germany Finland carried out. It concluded that, before introduction sanctions 2014 world 2015—2016, was more promising market than for companies trading goods.
